Game modes
GoldenEye: Source has some pretty fun and inventive game modes. We've configured the server to randomly select a new map and game mode every five minutes.
In game, press X at any time to learn about the current game mode.
Man With The Golden Gun
Grab the Golden Gun and kill as many people as you can, but keep moving as your position shows on everyone's radar!
Arsenal
The same as Counter-Strike "gun game" or "arms race". Everyone starts with the same weapon, and once you kill two people, you advance to the next weapon in the set of eight weapons. The first player to kill two people with the final weapon wins!
You Only Live Twice
Last player standing! Everyone has two lives, and once you've died twice, you join the spectators.
Living Daylights
Grab one of the flags on the map to score points, and hold onto it for as long as you can, despite your only weapon being the flag itself! The flag gives you a speed boost to help you escape other players, and if you take damage and survive, you will get extra points and armor. When you pick up the flag, it will refill your health and armor. Increase the rate at which you get points by picking up ammo, weapons and armor.
Gun Trade
Everyone starts with a random weapon, and when you kill someone, you swap weapons with them. If you kill someone with the slapper (melee) you remove their weapon from the rotation, and assign the attacker a weapon that hasn't been used yet.
A View To A Kill
Stay alive as long as possible. Killing someone adds 50% of their current time to yours, but dying will reset your timer to zero. Killing someone with the slapper (melee) adds 75% of their current time to yours. The player with the longest time will show on everyone's radar as a red dot.
License To Kill
Any hit with any weapon to any part of the body causes instant death regardless of health or armor.
Deathmatch
Kill as many people you can.
Dr. No Armor
Same as deathmatch but with all armor removed from the map.
Capture The Flag
Take the enemy team's flag and bring it back to your team's capture point. If you die on the way, you will drop the flag and your team mates to pick it up, or an enemy player can walk over the flag to instantly return the flag to their capture point.
